Vail Peak Volleyball Club is an elite volleyball organization situated in the Rocky Mountains, dedicated to developing top-tier athletes who are passionate about the sport. Our club offers a comprehensive training environment where players can thrive, guided by a team of experienced coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge. Through fundraising and outreach, we strive to provide opportunities for all players, regardless of their demographic or socioeconomic status.  Vail Peak currently supports U11-U15 teams that compete in the Rocky Mountain (RMR) for USAV.

When are tryouts?

Tryouts for High School Athletes are held in the Middle of July.

Tryouts for the Middle School Athletes are held the Beginning of September.

HOw much does it cost?

Each team’s fees are based on several factors, including the number and type of tournaments scheduled, how often the team practices, and the age group of the players. We do our best to keep fees transparent and to provide families with the most value possible in training, competition, and overall experience.

Costs are between $1750-$2550

How Long is the season?

The Middle School Season officially starts the beginning of November and goes until the end of April or beginning of May.

The High School Season starts early December, and the end date depends on the team, it can end at the end of March or go until early May.

What tournaments does your club attend?

Our teams compete in a variety of events each season as part of the Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) and USA Volleyball (USAV). We also occasionally participate in AAU tournaments. Depending on the team, athletes will play in Junior National Qualifiers (JNQs) both in Colorado and out of state, as well as competitive tournaments throughout the Front Range, CO. Each team’s schedule is designed to provide the right balance of development, competition, and travel experience.

When are practices and how many a week?

11U-13U practice 2 times a week for 2 hours each session. Typically on Sundays and one other evening during the week.

14U-17U practice 2-3 times a week for 2 hours each session. Typically on Sundays and 2 other evenings during the week.

WHere are practices held?

Our teams practice at different schools throughout the valley to make gym access convenient for families. Currently, we hold practices at: Vail Christian High School, Gypsum Creek Middle School, and Homestake Peak.
